collapsy wave bot
The collapsy bot is an experiment in developing a bot, and the idea behind it is to be able to collapse all inline replies in a wave with one command (indicated by the little text balloons with a minus).
At this point I have not succeeded yet. In the Google Bot API it seems impossible to discern between inline blips and other child blips of the wave, although the existence of methods like deleteInlineBlip seem promising in this respect.
At this moment when a blip is submitted that contains the command (text) ‘[collapse]‘, the bot simply lists all child id’s in a blip at the bottom of the wave and removes the command text from the submitted blip.
If you by any chance have suggestions or ideas how I can reach my goal to get this bot to function properly, don’t hesitate to comment below.
