Unbelievable… What these marketing poofs come up with these days. For the english: these are ‘chocoladevlokken’, in english this translates to chocolate flakes, which we (the dutch) like to eat on a slice of bread. I haven’t eaten these myself so I can’t tell you anything about the taste, but expect htey are extremely sweet and not that chocolaty, since this is targeted at kids.
I thought I’d do a small recap of upcoming releases on the modern funk front that I know of. Below is everything I could find for now, but I want to ask upfront, please tell me if you have additions.
So, about that small recap? It’s not going to be small. It appears there is a lot of good stuff on the horizon and this list doesn’t even include some of the bands I reported on earlier. Btw this post is also on last.fm, where links are added for each artist to their last.fm profiles.

I have to remember to do a short writeup on the great news that the New Mastersounds are going to visit us @ the SJU this 5th of september. You know, a short review of the new album, with a nive pic and that sort of stuff.
It seems the posting feature from the Flock-browser is not really fancy, but nice enough to make a quick post with some editing features. Even categories are supported, so it’s good enough for most kinds of posts.
